Cat Runner: Decorate Home is an endless runner game where players control a chosen pet, such as a cat, unicorn, or dog, through various environments. The core gameplay involves running at speed to collect gold coins while dodging obstacles like cars, trains, and other barriers, all in pursuit of a robber. A distinctive element of the game is its integrated home decoration system, allowing players to use the coins gathered during their runs to design and furnish different rooms within a virtual home, ranging from living areas to bedrooms.
Running and Home Design
The primary activity in Cat Runner: Decorate Home is the continuous chase across diverse landscapes, requiring players to react quickly to avoid numerous hazards. Controls are designed to be easy to use, facilitating swift movements through the endless city scenes. As players collect gold coins, these accumulate and serve a dual purpose. Firstly, they are essential for acquiring various decorative options to customize and design multiple rooms in their home. Secondly, coins are used to upgrade props that enhance running performance, such as a MEGA HEADSTART, score boosters, hoverboards, magnets, 2*multiples, and jetpacks.
Game Modes and Progression
The game offers several ways to play. An Original running mode provides the foundational endless runner experience. There is also an explicit endless mode for continuous play. For those seeking competition, an athletics-online rush mode allows players to race against world players. In this competitive mode, successful runs can yield chests containing prizes like diamonds, coins, or additional props. Beyond upgrades, progression also involves unlocking different pet runners, each featuring a unique style. Recent updates, such as version 5.5.8, have introduced limited-time events like the Halloween Run Carnival, adding temporary characters like Vampire Dog and Witch Bunny, and special collectibles like candies that unlock event-specific rewards.
